Fagrahlið in Fljotshlið is about 105 km from Reykjavik. Driving south on the Ring Road from Reykjavik. At the village, Hvolsvollur, you turn to the left in Fljotshlið and drive for 5 km. The farmhouse is then on the left up in the hill. The area is one of Iceland’s most beautiful places, located in the powerful triangle of the volcanoes Eyjafjallajokull, Katla, Hekla and Westman Islands, accompanied by some of the most exquisite glaciers in the country.
